Information Publication Scheme
Part II of the FOI Act establishes an Information Publication Scheme (IPS) for Australian Government agencies subject to the FOI Act. The IPS commenced on 1 May 2011 and requires agencies to publish a broad range of information on their websites.
In accordance with subsection 8(2) of the FOI Act, OPC publishes the following information:

Who we are
Statutory appointments
OPC has three statutory officers appointed by the Governer-General. Appointments are for a term of seven years and office-holders can be re-appointed for further terms.

Reports, publications and responses to Parliament
Arrangements for public consultation
OPC drafts legislation on instruction from the Commonwealth agency responsibly for the administration of that legislation. The Commonwealth Administrative Arrangements Orders (AAOs) lists Commonwealth agencies and the legislation for which they are responsible. The most recent AAOs are available on the website of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
Any public consultation regarding draft legislation would be carried out by the instructing agency.
Operational information
Under subsection 8A(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 1982, the operational information of an agency is:
...infomation held by the agency to assist the agency to perform or exercise the agency's functions or powers in making decisions or recommendations affecting members of the public (or any particular person or entity, or class of persons or entities).
OPC does not administer any legislation or schemes affecting the public and holds no operational information which is covered by subsection 8A(1) of the FOI Act.
